The hire period extends from 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Times out with these hours may be negotiable, but must be made by prior arrangement and will be agreed in writing by Merchant City Apartment.
The Hirer, and his/her party, must make every effort to vacate the hired Property at the stated/agreed time of departure.
The number of people occupying the property must not exceed the number specified on the confirmation form, unless agreed with Merchant City Apartments in advance and in writing.
The Hirer shall leave the Property in the same clean and tidy condition as it was found. A cleaning charge may be incurred if you fail to do so. For the health and safety of future visitors to Merchant City Apartment, a no smoking policy applies.
The Hirer shall be responsible for any damages or breakages to the Property, its furnishings, or fixtures and fittings. Damages are to be reported immediately and the cost of repair/replacement of same may be forwarded onto the Hirer.
The Balance of hire fee is to be paid one (1) week before the arrival date, unless, of course, the booking has been made at short notice.
NOTICE OF CANCELLATION must be sent to Mr Brian Henderson, Merchant City Apartment, 3 Clarendon Road, Stirling FK8 2RN, Scotland. In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the Property, for which a re-let charge will be levied. If this cannot be arranged, or if notice of cancellation is less than 48 hours, the Hirer will be liable for the Balance. CANCELLATION INSURANCE is advised to avoid this occurring.
The owner or their Agent shall be allowed to enter the Property for all reasonable purposes.
The Owner reserves the right to refuse entry, and to demand the immediate removal of any persons, including friends and associates of the Hirer, not complying with the Conditions of Hire, or conducting themselves in a manner detrimental to the Property, and its contents, or to any third party or the property of any third party.
The Hirer must note that by completing the booking they enter into a legal agreement and are bound to abide by the Conditions of Hire and any other reasonable instructions given by the Owner.
This contract is enforceable under the Laws of Scotland.
